What does F1, F1B, Multigen actually mean?
F1 Goldendoodle: is a first generation doodle and is a cross between a pure-bred golden retriever and pure-bred poodle, equaling 50% of each breed.
F1B Goldendoodle: An F1B doodle is a cross between a F1 doodle and a pure-bred poodle. This generation is about 75% poodle and 25% retriever, making it a very popular generation due to little or no shedding and beautiful coats.
F2 Goldendoodle: an F2 is a second generation, and is a cross between an F1 with F1 (F1 x F1) This generation can be more unpredictable in coat types and shedding qualities. It is not recommended to breed F2s
Multi-generational (multigen): F3 and above generations are considered multigens. Ex: F1B x F1B. Can come in a variety of coats; wavy, curly, or flat depending on the genes of the parent dogs. If the parent doodles have double furnishings (facial hair), then all the puppies will have furnishings. If both parents have one furnishing gene, then roughly 25% of the litter will take after the sporty retriever (flat) coat. This coat is low maintenance with the fun doodle personality.

Does the puppy come with a warranty or health guarantee?
Yes. We take pride in the quality and health of our pups, and make every effort to ensure we are breeding sound, healthy dogs. Because of this, we provide a warranty that covers fatal or debilitating congenital defects for the puppies' first year of life.
Will the puppy come with any vaccinations?
Yes. Prior to going home, puppies will have passed a physical health exam by a certified veterinarian, have received his/her first round of vaccinations, and will have been on a de-worming regimen. Puppies will also be given their first month of heartworm preventative.
I'm interested in a puppy, now what?
Most of our litters have a wait list. Simply contact us through email or facebook if interested in getting on a list. Our non-refundable deposits are $200, and we do not accept them until the pups are a week old, to ensure the pups are healthy and thriving. Those on a waiting list will have a chance to place a deposit in the order they are on the list. The order of deposits received will be the order of puppy picks. Picks will take place between 5-6 weeks and will be done via pics and videos. Don't worry, we post almost daily!

What do you feed your puppies?
Here at Texasdoodles, we recommend only the foods that are AAFCO approved and follow the WSAVA guidelines, which are only 5 brands: Purina, Hills Science Diet, Eukanaba, Royal Canin, or Iams. Our puppies will have been started on Purina Pro Plan, and each will be sent home with a starter bag.
